Default Ken Lingenfelter needs your help

He doesn't have enough money.

Some cool Pontiacs in his collection.

He's got a few video tours of his collection on youtube.

After viewing, one poster commented: "...how can one man afford that many battery tenders?"

(lol)

That's just a small sample as I toured the facility after I looked/drove the 71 Lucy TA.

I would say nicest I've seen yet. No budge on price as it sits was steep! Money needed? NO

Worth the trip! YES

Thanks Mike. Spreading your post here http://forums.maxperformanceinc.com/...84#post5119284

BTW - isn't that Blue '80s Vette a special Turbo purchase previously discussed here on PY?

His electric bill for his battery tenders is probably higher than my electric bill for my whole house.

Back in 2009, Lingenfelter created this beast, a new 2009 Z06 Corvette that ran 10.03 @ 141.5 mph.

Picture 1 shows cars that are somewhat attainable. Pics 2, 3, 4 shows cars that are completely unattainable by the average Joe. Picture 5 has two 1973-77 Pontiac A-bodies - they seem more than a little out of place, in that kind of company...

He drives 'em, too. He'll show up at our Pasteiner book store cruise (coffee and donuts) with a different car every week. That's how we met him; we were there one Saturday and he said "...maybe I'll bring the Ferrari next week". We were like "...yeah...right..."

One year for the "Eyes on Design" concours at the Edsel Ford Estate he drove the Bugatti...halfway across the lower penninsula....in the rain.

Man, a GTR, F40, a few Lambos, and a damn Bugatti! Folks, we're in the wrong line of business!

The last pic made me chuckle, they look so out of place.

Did you notice the SS Imp that disolves in the same line - next to the Can Am, in front of the 66 Ford?

That little jaunt couldn't have been cheap. At 10K miles, not only are you looking at new tires, you're also replacing the wheels as well. Can you ask him about a "junk" wheel for me?

Kudos to him for actually driving it.

Speaking of tires...checked pressures and aired up 16 tires today on a few of our Pontiac's and reminded me of LARGE collections like this as to Tire Mfg Dates, Rotation, and Replacement of the various vehicle tires you see in Lingenfelter's et al collections...
