I definitely have one, but might have a pair. I thought they all had the holes for the a/c baffling even if not used for ac. You can email me at arayman@aol.com

Just out of curiosity, can someone provide pictures on the car? I can't picture what is being discussed.

TIA

Is the shield different if the car has A/C or is something added?

Can’t answer your question directly, however my 69 MPC shows two different shields for the 64.

One for the T/6-T/8 with AC and TI. I’m guessing TI is transistor ignition which need to be shielded?

The other is for T/6-T8 except TI- makes no mention of AC.

My 74 MPC shows no listing so discontinued by that time.

The pictures are the splash shields from my 64 GTO- NON-AIR. The car was all original when I purchased it in 69 so I know these are correct for non-air application.

Here are a pair of 1964 slash shields. One has a factory A/C sheet metal baffle installed on the bottom, clearly both A/C and non-A/C applications used the same splash shield.

The 1964 A/C baffle has a narrow extension that wasn’t used for 1965 as you can see in the last 2 photos (‘65 baffle at the bottom). The drivers side 1964 baffle is an original, the passenger side baffle was fabricated for me by my brother, they’re not easy to come by.

Right now in the process of restoring the factory A/C on my Le Mans convertible.

b-man,

Good info, the difference for the AC being the added shield; never seen one.

Do you have any idea why the MPC shows used also on TI as noted in my post #10????

I have no idea in the TI ignition.

Just sharing some parts I’ve accumulated for my long-term project.

Thanks again b-man! So the staples on the added baffle are for the A/C seal kit filler piece?

TI had a cutout for the cover - amplifier box.
