I ordered 1.7 from Jegs. Calling Crower to double check it got through to them today.
The other fellow that ordered them got 1.65.
The promo code ends soon from Jegs.

The engine parts that I have include a IA-IIA block, a set of Hi Port heads and a Crower billet crank with a 4.125” arm. I need to start ordering the rest of the parts required for this engine. I was going talk to Dave about the camshaft specs, since he did the heads. So far I am unable to contact Dave.

Watched your videos, nice runs with the car. Have you ordered any pistons yet? I have a new set of CP Carillo here if interested. send me a pm. Thanks

I ordered 1.7 I&E, but haven’t received them yet. Has anyone receiver theirs yet?

Once I get the Crower shaft rockers I’ll mount them up to verify they will fit / work on my heads. My heads are currently at the machine shop to have the water jackets leak checked. When I pick them up next week, I’ll drop off my Crower Billet crankshaft and have checked for possible defects, since it’s a used crank.

I’ll be ordering a cam next, and no I haven’t ordered pistons yet.

Chuckie what size bore are the pistons you have for sale? Do you have a link to the pistons? Thanks.

My Crower shaft rockers showed up, very nice. I got them for 1537 $ but had to go through h#!! to get it. Jegs did not list the 74169F shaft rockers for the KRE head but did list the 74163F for 1639$ so with the 100$ promo code about 1540$ right ?
They did put the KRE shaft rockers on their site BUT it was 100$ more at around 1740$ and still is.
When I went to buy I did not like that they put basically the same rocker, costs them the same as the E head shaft for 100$ more. I was trying to get the same price for me and any others that wanted to buy them.
After lots of phone calls to sales and the sales person boss I got my price, but only me. Was told I was not getting any of my "buddies" at the same price.
These jerks acted like they were doing me a favor so what they did was jack up the price of the 74163F E head shaft rocker to the same price as the KRE rocker so I could not b!t#h I guess.
Summits sells both for 1740$ or so and takes Jegs promo code so you can always buy from them.
BUT, there is one more good deal on Jegs so someone might want to take advantage of it before they jack up the price on that too.
Its the "wide port" version of these with optional offfset. So if someone is looking for a nice set of Crower Endura SS shaft rockers for a wide port E head or KRE High Port head 1640 $ dropped down to 1540 $ with promo code is a good deal.

https://www.jegs.com/i/Crower/258/74165/10002/-1

Considering T&D aluminum shaft rockers are 1900$ and 20 weeks out and still not as good as the Crowers 1540 $ is a good deal. And T&D charges another 1000 $ on top of that for steel rockers.
At that point might as well buck up and buy Jessle.

Call and order them through Kauffman. They are at a better price and they have them drop shipped from Crower. Support the Pontiac guy’s keeping us in the game.

What was KRE selling them for ? If he can do better than 1540$ that would be something for sure.

Dragncar do you know the intake offset measurement for the Crower rockers for the wideport heads? I believe T&D list it as .450 and .700.

The 74163F are for std heads.
The 74165 are custom so I believe they are whatever you need.
The way I understand it the .400 offset are for E heads without pushrod tubes welded or deleted.
The .700 offset are for the big time wide ports. The T&D shafts I have say 1.7 on the exh rocker and 1.8 on the intake rocker. Not sure exactly what that means since the numbers are so close.
The offset on the Jessle .903 lifters look to be about as far as you can move them.

The 1.7 & 1.8 usually refer to the rocker arm ratio.

I had not pulled them out of the box in years, in a hurry, made a post and went to work.
I thought the whole set was 1.8. Nice set of rockers with 4 extra.

Yeah Paul.
I made the post and was on my way to work 5 minutes later when I realized my brain fart. Nothing I could do about it, could not delete it, edit it in time.
I know how it looks. In a hurry, people asking me questions, lot on my mind.
Life goes on. Lot bigger thing going on in my life at the moment, good things.
I wanted to answer RA462 quickly because he is cool, try it sometime.
I have 4 sets of roller rockers and 2 sets of shafts and most of them say what they are right on top.
For some reason I was thinking the Jessle lifters had their offset stamped on them thats why I opened up the box. Glad I did, wanted to check them for rust. They are all good, had a NIB set rust on me before.
