Got to see the original Mountain back in high school days. I still love Climbing and Nantucket Sleighride albums. I also really like the Leslie West album Mountain that was pre band. Leslie was one of the guitarists that had a distinct tone. Mississippi Queen is one of best R&R songs ever. RIP.

I saw Mountain at Sportsman’s Park in Cicero back in the 70’s. I was at a custom car show, maybe Super Chevy? Anyway they played there and I remember they had a kind of short warm up show earlier in the day. I could stand right at the stage as the crowd was real thin for the early show.

I'm aligned. His music was unique and influential. It will live well beyond his passing. The jackets are worn for good reason.
