They came with five different V8s, Three with polyspherical heads and two 315 'Baby' Hemi head engines with a single WCFB (260 HP) or dual WCFBs (295 HP)

Wow on that shot with the chute popped open.
Don't remember it ever being used on any episodes ... but it has been a long long time ago.

I was a big fan of the show because they used Honda motorbikes.
MiniTrail 50's and Trail 70's were my favorite things on earth back then.
It may have also had some subliminal influence on me becoming a Pontiac guy . idunno
