Default Steering wheel color

Just trying to figure out what color a standard steering wheel would have been in a 1970 bright blue deluxe Firebird Formula 400 interior

3 spoke light blue. Column is light blue as well.
So the wheel has the 3 tab padded horn center in Blue as well. I have found these on LeMans Sport more than other models in '70

Not correct wheel. Buttons should be correct shade of blue.

There are seven different shades of '69-72 blue Deluxe steering wheels. Have owned examples of each style. The '70 Firebird Blue Deluxe Strg wheel for the "bright blue" blue interiors was a '70 Firebird only piece. Standard on '70 Esprits, optional on base '70 Firebirds & Formulas.
Original dated Pontiac MPC's refers to the '70 F only blue as "Lucerne" blue.

Given I will be unlikely to find an original...I will probably re-color a black one with the same color vinyl/plastic paint I will use on the rest of the bright blue interior

The one on ebay is a nice piece, and has NO buttons in it, which should be Blue as OPH has stated correctly . I don't see the spring tabs either.
The Bird blue Steeling wheel was Not as bright as the name of the interior would suggest.
At that ebay price point, I might put in a black Column and a Formula wheel.
ALL Formula steering wheels back then had a black column regardless of interior color.
