Default Sniper Quadrajet and air cleaner

Has anyone used the Holley Sniper Quadrajet with a 1978 Trans Am W72 air cleaner?
How is the fit? Were there any modifications required?

I have on a 78 TA 400 the only thing I had to do to keep the air cleaner in place ,on the base plate where it sets on the carb (throttle body ) ,I snipped the rolled edge and bent the new tabs to keep it centered no more 1/4" snip are needed you'll see as soon as you set the base plate on the throttle body it will rotate , I went from 13/14 mpg to over 23 mpg I will never another carb or will switch it as soon as possible Good luck and enjoy it
