Default 64 A/c dash

I’m new here but need help with my 64 a/c, I have a stock dash that has a/c but there are no controls, my question is will a 66 a/c control with the vent fit my opening?

The cast potmetal A/C car's center vent and control assy are specific to either 64-5 or 66-7.

I do not think it would be possible to use a '66 A/C control in a 64 or 65 dash. It would never fit the plastic bezel.

Confirming that you cannot fit 66-67 AC controls into a 64. The 64 dash bezel has a curve to it, whereas the 66-67 is flat.

64 control panel has a smooth surface, 65 is pebble grained. Hookups are year specific also.
