Excellent progress, it looks great. Neat car that is seldom seen these days in a rare color. My own '65 GTO is also Blue Charcoal, it's original color. I had it re-painted in 1985 and it still looks okay for a driver. Love the parchment interior, as well. Mine's blue.

Still moving along
I haven't kept posting this up as well as i would have liked to. I've been steadily working on getting this car put back together. Got the engine installed over Christmas break, while alternating between the body and the rest of the chassis as i was waiting for other parts etc.

Was making steady progress until Corona struck. You know the saying you have either time or money, so lots of time now. Fortunately I didn't really need a lot of money, most everything was bought already, so now i get to really start to roll.

The big day has arrived. 3 weeks short of 3 years to get the body back on the frame. 2 years of that was in paint jail just waiting to start. Took the second body man to actually do the job, and an awesome job he did!
