Why would you not fix the front valance?? Looks like a sad car with that frown.

Nothing like they say it is.
Wrong engine
Wrong color
Not original paint
Missing key pieces
Probably is a pilot car but that's about it.

Has some issues but we would all drive that 71 Judge, I expect.

Should be fixed really even if trying to leave it as is.

Late version of a 71 Hood too for one of the first 71 production Judges as seen clearly at 3:56 and other places in the YouTube clip.

Known of this exact Judge for over 20 years. It def needs a little work & a few expensive parts.
I found the narrative by the caretaker beyond dumb & insulting.

I like the bolt shoved in the piece of rubber hose to block off a vacuum port in the front of the carb. Still a rare and good looking car though.

THATS IN THE BROTHERS COLLECTION???? WOW, they usually only have top, top quality cars!

This is neither unrestored or a survivor. That front valance is a mess. I say restore it to concours.

-remove front valance, have it metal finshed, good old school bodyman could knock it out in few hours. Maybe too expensive on the West Coast... Hmmm.
-consider recreating early '71 hood with metal work to leading edge of hood. Might as well, as not going to find a May of '70 dated '71 hood. Important detail.
-refinish both, at the very minimum, the front valance.
-remove coresupport plastic baffle, not original to an early '71.
-install missing correct studded head bolts.
-replace head of washer pump, service replacement from the 80's...c'mon.
-install correct support brackets & '71 RA aircleaner, top plate & correct bolts & boots.
-good car for a non stamped open frame alternator. not going to find a "927" built that early.
-time for some undercarriage detailing & aluminized exhaust.
-am sure there is more...

Last, refilm another video. show a pic of the cowl tag to back up the hype, lose the purported "Surviver" BS as well as the "it runs, shifts, etc better than most restored musclecars, yada, yada". Sorry dufus, but there are quite a few "well optimized" all correct component restored '71 & 72 HO cars that would leave this '71 waaaay back in view of their tail lights.

I agree Roger. Leaves a bad taste when they own those beautiful 71 White Judge verts...

What's the build date?

Plus repair the peeling wood grain on dash bezel and the detail around the gauges where silver/chrome is missing

surf city , yep .
Knew the details had a familiar sound , but couldn't get the bells to ring.

Anyone have copies of Invoices or Buildsheet for this car ?
