Default Quick Ratio Manual Steering Box

Has anyone used the quick ratio box from Ames? 16 to 1 ratio 4 turns lock to lock. Description says it gives great road feel.

I had "Turn One" out of Saginaw, Michigan rebuild my original 1969 steering box to 2-1/4 turns lock to lock. They did an excellent job.

Our 64 has the factory quick ratio manual gear box. Be aware, it is a bear to steer while sitting still or in slow moving parking procedures. Ours is made doubly worse in that our car has the wood wheel which is a smaller diameter than the stock wheel thus providing even less leverage.
