64 Convertible windlace style
Working on a 64 Lemans convertible. I have a couple sets of original windlace and am trying to figure out which is correct. One has a square/flat profile and the other has a more rounded profile.
I think 64 and 65 both had the same texture design, but not sure about the profile. Could the pieces just be from different manufacture suppliers? Any ideas or thoughts? Thanks. |

The examples you show seem to be 1964 which had a heavy texture.
1965 and ‘66 had a smoother texture to them. I’m not sure about the different profiles (square / round) you show. Could be the supplier for a particular plant. Convertible and Hardtop use the same windlace. Below photos are from unrestored Survivor cars. 1964, heavy texture. 1965, smooth texture. 1966, smooth texture.
