Default 1970 Pontiac 8 Track Tape

I'm looking for an original Pontiac 8 Track Tape for 1970. I don't need the player. Looking for the actual tape that would have came with the car when it was new.

Thanks!

Do you have a GM part # ? I have a couple of extra Pontiac Promo 8 track tape's,but the only one with a year on it is a 1972. The rest have a GM part #. I may be able to help you.Let me know.

Sorry, I don't have the GM Part Number for the 1970 Tape. The Pontiac 8 Track tapes are very confusing (since most don't have the year on them).

I have done some research and here's what I believe to be correct.

1967- Brown Plastic. Large "PONTIAC" in Black bold letters on White Label. Columbia Special Products # 98-13-0020. Track 1- A Trip Through Wide Track Country

1968- White Plastic. Red "PONTIAC" on White label. Capital Records #8XL-6574 GM #9794818 Track 1- Cabaret by Jackie Gleason

1969- White Plastic with Red labels. Capital Records # 8XL-6548 GM #9793868 Track 1- Samba De Orfeu by Ray Anthony

1969- White Plastic. "The Great Breakaway Melodies" in Purple on a White label. No numbers. Manufactured by Stereodyne for Pontiac Motor Division. Track 1- Big Band Rock

1970- ????

1971- White Plastic with Gold labels. PC8S-598 GM #493339 Track 1- Everybody's Talkin by Nilsson

1972- Has 1972 printed on label. Columbia Special Products #CA10424 GM # 488419 Track 1- The Fool On The Hill by Percy Faith

I would be interested in any Pontiac 8 Track Tapes that aren't mentioned above (especially a 1970).

Thanks!!

Default Correction

Oops, I had the 1968 and 1969 tapes reversed.

The 1968 is the Red label with GM # 9793868

The 1968 is the White label with GM # 9794818
