hey guys! im in the process of purchasing some HO manifolds. wanted to make sure these fit before i spend the $$. the manifolds are supposed to be 67 HO manifolds. Im under the assumption that these would fit my '66 GTO. is this a correct assumption?

also, if i wanted to use them on my '69 Ventura would this be possible?

how do the stock pieces compare to the repops? ive heard the stock ones can be brittle and tend to crack easily. is this true. i will probably not get these for any great deal, so if i have to spend more money for new ill just do that. i obviously dont need them for and "correct" application.

thanks for the info!

The 67 H.O. manifolds will fit your 66 GTO. Both repros available are better grade than originals and there have been very few problems. Hope you don't need them right away. Most if not all vendors have a waiting list.(2-12weeks)

I used those manifolds on my '64 GTO. They fit fine, and perform very well with a cam that is not too large. My car ran 12.65 @ 108.69 with a tri-power and a 744 ("H") cam. The factory ones had a tendency to crack at the seam between the ports. I can't help you with the large car, but I believe it needs the long branch manifolds.

Kev, the manifolds you are talking about will not fit the B-body(Ventura,Cat,Bonnie).You will need the long branch type and the oil filter adapter also.
