My alternator starter repair shop is about a 4 iron away from where Down Town Pontiac used to be and I am on the same street. (West Liberty Ave.) I will ask around and keep an eye out for anything from there. We used to do a lot of repair work on starters and alternators for them. If you ever had any alternator or starter work done from DTP it may have my finger prints on it.

Downtown Pontiac..
wow, a blast from the past... before I was born, my Uncle bought a 66 white GTO convt, from there.. He moved to Miami, Fla, & sold it in the early 1970s........
I had looked there in 1990s for old parts, they did not have much left... I still have a 70-3 rear f bird metal panel, still in wrapper from 1987, when I got it.... There was a Pontiac dealer, about 3 miles up the road, Walker Pontiac, they had alot of performance cars in the day... My friend in San Diego, has a 70 raiv GTO convt, that was sold there new..... |

I delivered to Walker Pontiac too. I wish I'd kept my copy from the dealer inspection sheets for all the cars I delivered. It would be neat to see how many of the Pontiacs are still around that you guys had, or still have, that I possibly could have delivered.
