Ram Air 3, 4 speed M-21 close ratio, 3.90 rear end, power steering, and 4 wheel manual drums. I have to go tonight to retrieve another trailer load of parts. So far the only major items missing are the original motor, ram air stuff and the front valance.

Nice power train combo, have one almost identical - RA3, M21 with 3:90, manual drums and no power options. Love the go fast only options. Nice ride!

The orange shag will be the first thing gone, along with the rat droppings. Did find some interesting parts in the storage unit. It has two nearly complete front endura's and one has the complete hidden headlight setup on it. I have to decide on which one to put on it. Originally just the standard front end, but I really like the look with the hidden headlights. Overall body condition is very good. Small rust areas on the lower front quarters and a little around the inner lip of the rear wheel opening. A couple of dents in the left rear quarter. It has only 69,000 miles on the odometer. Sounds about right, parked in 1985.

I do need some help on one thing. How do I get the trunk open? Key won't unlock it and it is the correct key(it works in the glove box). I hate to have to destroy the lock, but I guess I can if there isn't any other way. Any ideas?

Remove the backseat. With a bunch of extensions and a 7/16 socket you can unbolt the trunk latch.

with PB Blaster or similar chemical. Insert key part way and fill her up!

Tried lubricant/rust penetrator and the key. No budging. I thought about the back seat thing. It just depends on how rusty the screw is. I need to get the shovel out and start on the rat poo and I think I'll use a bug bomb to kill all the spiders. Lots of brown recluse ones found.

Those Brown Recluse have a nasty azz venom! Almost like that flesh-eating virus! We did a '63 Vette that had so much rodent urine on it that the aluminum valve covers dissolved in spots! Found a complete rat skeleton in the door. Good luck! Nice project, BTW.

I love them at that phase. That's when they seem to get the mother's love the most.
