I was thinking the same thing!

Who do you think will make them now that Blitz closed? The Chinese of course. Another US company put out of business by the lawyers.

LOL, LOL

I recently bought one of these new 5 gallon cans also.

I was really pissed off when I found out that it was child-proofed to the max and that it had that has some sort of 'IDIOT SPOUT" on it. '

Well, when I need gas, I NEED GAS, so I just took the dumbass idiot spout off and whipped out a funnel

Thanks for posting info about this fix, I was wondering what I could do to recoup some of my $16 investment in this underperforming plastic bladder masquerading as a gas can

Silver Judge,
You got it.
I teach folks who have to use these in Forest Fire Fighting and obviously those who can't do things make laws so those who do are handicapped. I have to teach them how to ship them. Which is another entire subject matter and I am not going to hijack this thread.
BTW, I have 2 of them. I do the pour down method into old style cans.

Default EZ-POUR Gas Can Spout

Has anyone used the EZ-POUR gas can spout kits? They look like they are pretty decent.

That was an easy project this weekend. Also cut back a piece of hose as an extension for the spout on mine as it was only 4 inches.
