HELP I need a posi rear for my 69 firebird. i want a 12 bolt but will settle for a 10. I want stock or close to stock gearing. I have a 455 and want to drive it daily.

Viking, I'm guessing you have the stock 8.2" posi in the car now. If so, hold on for a week. My local rearend guru is going to do a carrier conversion on a friend's 8.2" next week. It is a non-GM carrier, and it is MUCH stronger than any 8.2". I'll give details when I see whether the conversion works or not. stay tuned.
