70 Gas tank vent system
In another thread..69 Gas Tank Question...we were discussing the vent system on 69...It appears my tank is not a 69 and might be a 70..
Does anyone have a picture of how the 70 vent system works? Thanks Bertr

I posted a pic of all that in your other thread.....the "two rubber hoses plugged into the white plastic vent thing" IS FROM A '70 tank.

I probably never clearly mentioned that as well in that thread.,,,,sorry. You can find used ones occasionally and the repro places sell new ones.
As I mentioned in the thread, the "assembly" (two hoses and white plastic vent tank) is held up against the floorpan underside WITH A SPECIFIC small metal tab or "clamp" which is a stamped steel piece. Also available from the repro places and something you could probably fabricate yourself if you are going for function vs. form. I also recall that the larger rubber hose that hooks onto one of the white plastic vent tank is a less common size (appears to be 1/2" ID rubber fuel hose....not the more common 3/8", etc).
