Default QJET leak. whats wrong ?

it keeps getting worse. a few weeks ago the gasket was jut wet. now it it dripping ??

Your float level may be set too high or you may have the wrong airhorn gasket.

Yes, check the float height and airhorn screws. Worst case the airhorn may be a bit warped from overtightening. Cliff's kits come with a thick gasket that helps reduce the chance of leaking. However, if the airhorn is badly warped, you'll have to send it out for straightening.

It ain't flat that's why it leaks. Also, number 10 lock washers are a huge help.

Try this please, always start with the 2 screws on the primary side under your choke flap,next to idle air bleeds. Loosen all you screws gently start with these 2 and tighten them first, next go to the next 2 towards back of carb. then tighten the front single one the the rmaining back ones. Believe me it makes a differance, By all means double check float level and if float is old replace it, it could be fuel soaked!
