I doubt Holmes would want to add that much weight. Only a crazy person weighs over 3400#S.

Was he at Norwalk this year?

... oh no Jack, Holmes wont have to be anywhere near 3400 lbs, he will only have to weigh 3011.66lbs, to match your 6.5046 lbs/c.i. of your 535'c.i. 65' GTO ...

... i dont see that being a problem, it would be around "100-150 lbs" that would need to be added, we will talk to John once he gets the new trans in the car ...

... now wait, Kinsler said as long as we were with-in 100lbs ??? ... heck we're almost there now ??? ...

... surely you guys dont expect Holmes to have to run at 3480lbs correct ??? as that would be a whopping 7.516lbs/c.i. !!!! ...

I don't get it. Lil Jack always seems to speak for himself but you always speak for others (Mr Holmes, Mr Roberts, etc).

Just sayin'

... well, considering that car has my cam in it, i think i'm entitled, at least as much as Kinsler would be speaking for Lil'Jack, yes ? ... just sayin'...

... and Robin and John especially are never on the boards, so someone would have to speak for them ...

X2....This is jacked up. Lifted at XXX feet and ran 8.XX. Don't have actual weights, DA, mph. I don't have a dog in the fight but really?? Reminds me of the high school days in late 80's of marking off 1/4 mile and timing with a watch and using MPH that is totally screwed from the rear gear ratio changes.

If Holmes is running a 463, 3010lbs puts them both at 6.50 lbs/ci.... Both are nitrous cars correct? If that's the case, what is there to debate? Put up or shut up is the way i see it.... seems like Pontiac guys are scared to grudge race... after pages of debate on rules, no one ever races....

I got $100 say they never race..

I did not see you at Norwalk, Scott.

Kinsler and Marcella were "THERE" with their "Grudge Match" so I do not agree with the
"no one ever races...." comment. If Kenny had made the trip, I am sure that MJM would have been there to race him too. Family comes first.

... what ?? DA, Mph ??? that has nothing to do with it ... No actual weights ?? ... Jack said his car weighs 3480 per the Norwalk scale, and he said the other scale was known to be heavy, so that sets the lbs/c.i. that the white CV-1 Tempest has to weigh to match Jack's lbs/c.i. ??? ...

... it seems pretty cut & dry to me ??? ...

Liljack wanted an update, so I posted the results from the BOP event. A week earlier, the little Tempest ran a 8.14 at Union Grove, different track, different day. The track conditions at the BOP event were good, but not the EAST COAST AIR. Air Temps in the 80's, at least 2500' DA. To run 8.14 @144 mph shows how much he was out of it, I doubt he was on the brakes killing 25 mph.

How many cars here have run 8.14 @2850lbs here with a stock block, 4.180" bore just working the bugs out?

What ever happened with that 463"'ish aluminum IA2 build you guys did with CV1 heads? I don't remember if it was dynoed or run at the track? Just curious?
