The latest is I'm still waiting for the samples to get to me. The project was approved at the end of December. As soon as any pieces get to me, I will post something.

I'm hoping that all the 69-72 GP owners get wind that these patch panels are coming out. I have to rely on all of you guys to spread the word.

Stay tuned... GP Mike

GP Mike,

I appreciate all the effort involved in getting this to happen and you can bet I`ll pass the word on these. I`m really looking forward to being able to order a pair for my `70.

Good news... The patches arrived and I had a very good body guy install them on a set of fenders. I gave him my w/o moldings to test fit too and it was a success. I also had an original right rear quarter panel available so I had my body guy install that patch too. That was also a success. Now we're just waiting for them to arrive to PY. My guess is its gonna be late summer or early fall. We're having people call in and reserve sets right now. The part numbers are as follows: Drivers side fender patch is B2710L, passengers side fender patch is B2710R. Drivers side quarter patch is B2001L and the passengers side patch is B2001R. I still have to verify these quarter patches will work on a 71-72 GP. From what I saw, they will. Also, in our GP catalog, the 1/4 patch is only behind the rear wheel. We initially had it in-front and over the wheel, but we did not do that.

I have not 100% confirmed they are the same for 71-72, but looking at both cars at the same time parked next to each other, the quarters looked the same shape. It's the same w/o molding and the rest of the quarter contours the same, so the only part that might not be the exact same is the very back end where the bumper goes. Like I mentioned, I have to get a car I can fit the panel up against. I would say you can use most of it.
