Default Delaware City Cruise Nights for 2020

Our first Cruise Night in Delaware City for this year at Kathy's Crabhouse will be June 7th from 2pm until 7pm. This is to help Kathy and show our support. There is no limit on the number of cars. Come one come all. Kathy says 2500 would be fine with her. She's ready for us.

Just make sure you and those with you have a mask so you can go inside. Outside.... continue recommended "Social Distancing" with a mask. I'll have one, but having it on depends how much I'll need to breathe.

After June 7th it's back to our normal 4th Sunday with the addition of the 5th Sunday for the remaining months that have 5 Sundays. All will depend on the weather. If it's raining or snowing..... no cruise.

BTW... there is no and will be no Cruise Nights in the Park across from Crabby Dick's on Clinton Street. It is now closed to all shows because of Crabby Dick's BS. Don't even ask the City if you can have one there. It's a BIG no to anyone that asks.

Went to the cruise this past weekend. A huge THANY YOU to Gary
Thanks for your effort to keep this going. This was probably the first car event in our area this year and it was packed. Cant wait until next month, though I will try to get there a bit earlier next time.

Thanks Kerry... we try. We had a total of 117 vehicles. The best we've ever had at Kathy's Crabhouse.

Our next Cruise is June 28th. That is the regular date... 4th Sunday of the month.

In August, the first month with 5 Sundays, we're thinking on the two Sundays (4th and 5th) for our cruise night.

It seems there might not be one of the other local locations aloud to have their cruise nighta. I'm hoping to be kept informed on that by a couple of friends and will post it here.

A list of the ones in this area:

1st Saturday: Corvette Club at Pikes Creek Ruby Tuesday on Limestone Rd. ?
2nd Saturday: Ford Club at Pikes Creek Ruby Tuesday Limestone Rd. ?
3rd Saturday: in the Fox Run shopping center across I-Hop, on RT 40.
4th & 5th Sunday: that's us at Kathy's Crabhouse on RT9 in Delaware City.

BTW, I'm tied of seeing Pontiacs outnumbered. Get those Indian Head cars out of the garage and head on down... so we can outnumber the Chevys, Fords and Mopars. At least once would be nice.

To let everyone know we're now having 2 Cruise Nights a month from now on in Delaware City at Kathy's Crabhouse.. The 2nd Sunday and the 4 Sunday of the month. I meant to make this announcement sooner but forgot.

The other Cruise Night spots up above the canal haven't been opened up yet.. as far as I know at this time.... that's Pike's Creek on Limestone Rd north of Kirkwood Highway, and Fox Run in Bear, DE on RT 40.

See yas this Sunday July 12th. Same time..... 2pm to 7pm.

Exclamation

New news:

We are now having the cruise night every Sunday thru to and including November 1st, which is the last day Kathy's Crab House is open for the year.

On September 27 we are having our St. Jude's benefit for the kids. We need all the help for them we can get. Donation of $10.00... or more if you can.... hopefully. All of you guys around here grab your buddies with their cars and bring them along too. Remember...This is FOR THE KIDS. All monies collected go directly to St Judes's for the kids.

Well.. all we had was rain here today and no one showed up. So... we'll see you guys next April. When I hear what date we'll be back I'll post it here. Have a good winter vacation. And a big thanks to all those that showed up to our cruise nights this past season.
