Default 1979 non-pulse wiper decal motor assistance

I am in the process of having a decal for my 1979, non-pulse wiper motor made. My decal doesn't have the top line for the part number.

Can anyone help by providing the information you have on your wiper motor or replying with a picture please?

Would also be interested in which plant your car was built in and the build date code from the trim tag! Mine is 02A, February, 1979, first week.

Thanks!
Jim

Aus78

Thanks for the information. I am trying to confirm the part number for a 1979 unit. I can't confirm or deny the number you provided for a 1977 unit is correct for 1979.

Default 77 T/A Wiper Motor

This wiper motor came off my 77 T/A built in Norwood, Ohio. The motor was used through 1981.

Im in the same quandry. I checked mine and the silver label is there but the writing is no longer on the wall.

Yellowbird, good pic, same motor was used but do you know if any part of that number is a date code? Looks to me like the top line may be a part no. the bottom the date? You said it was off of your 77, the middle number is a 7(year)?,
1 (month)? B (week)? purely speculation???

Also, what are the first 2 on the bottom line B8? or 88?

Thanks

After looking at all of the pics another scenario,

Bottom line, first number 88( calendar day)? 7 ( year)? 1B (some kind of code)?

Default Bottom whipper motor number

The top number is definitely the part number demonstrated by a simple google search. I don't know the significance of the bottom line of numbers but the first two I believe to be 88.

Seems to be a wiper motor number regardless of if it ended up on pulse or regular assembly.

Ok, lets go with that Aus78. I wasn't sure if there was a difference. I can confirm that this part number is different than for 1978.

Thanks!

No idea, making conversation. It's one of the numbers I found labels for previously, just not on a standard motor. Frank's on ebay has nice pics of a NOS 81 pulse wiper motor w/label but different number again. None of these numbers seem to appear in the Parts Manual, it probably refers to the cast number on the back of the frame.
