I dropped my car off last wednsday, but i was told it could be done a week before that when i gavce my down payment.


SO they have it for almost a week, and now there telling me they dont have the parts yet and they might not get the parts until next week!!!!!!!!!



I dont have an extra car i can use!!!!


Im pissed!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!



what can i do?

Having installed a three Vintage Air units ( Classic and Old Air use similar parts), I can tell you that these are custom installs as the ONLY Pontiac specific part is the compressor mount and all other components must be fitted to each car. For instance; you order a certain type of ac outlet and then find that it won't work because of lack of clearance under or in the dash.

It's unfortunate that you do not have other transportaion, but it may be unavoidable.

Brandi,

Sorry about your delay problem. I guess you'll have to chalk this one up to experience and in the future do the best you can to get your contractor (or whatever) to give you a firm date and how they will meet that date.

But, stuff does happen and you can run into problems you didn't see before you started the job, so it makes sense that in cases like that it will take longer.

I hate waiting I have been waiting since december to have my womans uncle finish my new rear end install and hotchkiss boxed control arms with hotchkis sway bar brakes and lines in the front and shocks all the way around. Killing me not being able to cruise in this weather.
