Huh...? Don't know how that happened. It grabbed the ad instead of the video I guess...
I tried it again and it pasted the Harbor Freight ad. Mmmmmm

Maybe it’s a recreation/kit. Not a genuine GT40?

Couldn't get a pic, but it was like this (same paint scheme and colors).

A couple interesting cars..

The Subaru (360?) was in the dealership as a conversation piece. I don't remember anything like it... too bad they couldn't put the rear bumper back on. 60s vintage? Were they sold in the US?

The street rod owner was enjoying a beautiful spring day in the middle of winter.

Yes, a limited number were sold in the USA in the late 1960s. They were imported by Malcolm Bricklin, the same guy who created the Bricklin sports car in the 1970s. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Subaru_360 I remember seeing a couple of them back in the day but they weren't popular. A few years later a tiny Subaru van and a flatbed truck were sold here that used the same engine, my chemistry teacher in college had one of the flatbeds.

Thanks Stuart!

Interesting history and this local example is definitely an odd duck.

Cool to me that it had a 2-cyl 2-stroke requiring pre-mix. And 0 to 60 in 37 seconds! I'm also glad that both Bricklin and the American public moved past this to something more interesting.

The Honda 600 coupe laughs at that little Subie.

I suspect the Schwinn Stingray laughed at it and definitely out-sold it.
