I was a bit surprised (by doubt) when Dennis Collins from Coffee Walk chimed in and said he had personally known of these such cars selling for far more in private sales than this one was currently bid to.
And that bid wound up being the final bid.

I've never heard of a Non-SD breaking 6 figures before.
And doubt we will see it happen again unless John Wayne's car gets frame off restored.

Did any of you guys see the scrap pile 79 Trans Am that was "blown-up" in Steve McQueen's last movie that just sold for around $90k on BaT ?

I would sell it right now as it sits .
A bit rough and missing original engine
