Default 1971 Trans Am Wanted

Hi ,
I was referred to this site by a guy named Rick Smith , he had seen my wanted ad on another site and he recommended to me that I post my ad on this site , he thinks that there might be somebody here that can help me find what I am looking for... So here it goes , I am looking for a 71 trans am to restore , condition is not as important as is it being a 4 speed car , and the more complete the better as I am new to trans am's , I don't yet know much about them... So if anybody can help me out with finding one of these cars that won't cost me a million dollars I would sure apreciate it... Thank you
Russell

Ram72, this is the best place on he web for the kind of info that you will need to help in your restoration once you find the right car.

Default 71 TA

I caught myseff in a week moment here. I "may" put my TA project up for sale. It's a tough descission, I really want to do the car, but time is an issue. It's just sitting doing nothing while I'm working on other projects.
Its a 71 4-speed car, white w/blue interior.
Every damn number I can find matches. Original block, carb, manifolds, etc.
The bad part is the rust. Nothing that can't be fixed, just time cunsumming. Qtrs, trunk, trunk drops. The floors are actually really good.
The other bad part is I'm into the car for a lot of money at this point, and I really don't know what I would need out of it. And since reproduction qtrs are junk, and OEM are pricey, I ended up buying a complete parts car I can cut the qtrs off of.

Default 71 TA four speed wanted

I have a Lucerne Blue 71 TA four speed. Honeycomb car, deluxe black interior, console delete and no ac. Restored in 1997. Still looks good, could use a few things. Runs like an ape, it's all original and matching numbers with a few upgrades. I've been on the fence about selling but I think it's time.......

Email me

Honor74@aol.com

Thanks,

Chris
