Did 1969 Trans Am cars get chrome grill surrounds?
I realize the inner grilles on a 1969 Trans Am were painted black, and that the Firebird 400 cars got chrome grill surrounds, but did the Trans Am also get the chrome grill surround always? or only with Decor package as noted below? or never?

Thanks. Seems like half the T/A's I see sell at auction or on BaT seem to have them installed. Always was curious. Then parts sellers as noted above market the trim as for Trans Am.

Nose emblem was all 400 including TA, grill chrome trim was all 400 except TA.
