I am looking for a shop with Torque plates and can do checks on block such as line bore and block decking. Houston or New Orleans, Maybe even Dallas any ideas are reccomendation welcome.

You may want to call Steve Taylor and Ray Kittler of Automotive Machine Service in Bozier City, LA. Tony Castillo, of Cleveland OH, who used to run aluminum heads that he designed himself, has had good success with them.

Owen's Racing is in Pearland, just south of Houston. I'm not sure if they have a Pontiac torque plate or not. But they are a quality operation and are familiar with Pontiacs. 281-485-5257.
