Does anyone have any experience with this cam? It was mentioned in a recent issue of HPP as used by engine builder Jim Taylor. This is a solid lifter/cam set that supposedly has the benefits of a solid cam without the maintenance.

Had a talk with 'Mac' McKellar on this subject, the last time was last Saturday night, and he told me that they are near copies of the old McKellar series solid cams, that were set at .008 and .012, and were as close to set and forget as anything that we have now.The cam that was used in the Hot Rod story was very much like the #10 Pontiac cam (541596) which was a solid version of the 041 Ram Air IV cam.
The TFX is new/old technology.
