Default column swap

I have a '69 Custom"S" had a column shift(auto) standard column...picked up a tilt/floor shift column out of a 71-72 Cutlass my problem is none of the electric connectors accept my wiring harness connectors. I did take them off of my old column but the one connector that the switch rod connects to has a different throw. Is there someone that makes a plug for this scenario and will these even work? As of now cannot even start car no wire connections...

If you're switching from a non-tilt column to a tilt column then you must use an ignition switch for a tilt column. You can't use your old non-tilt column switch. When you go to connect your original wiring harness to the tilt ignition switch it will look like it won't connect because it's backwards. If you twist your wiring harness connector over the connector should then align with the tilt ignition switch. As for the tilt column being from an Oldsmobile Cutlass I don't see a problem as long as the donor car was an "A" or "G" body. Hope that answers your question.

Default column wiring

yeah I wish it was that easy...not possible. I already tried that and both switch housings. Any other fixes out there??? As you can see the actual slide-black bar-is oriented differently in both housings.
