Default Help ID heads on SBC 383 stroker, and tuning advise?

Trying to help a neighbor ID the aluminum heads on a SBC 383 stroker. Engine was purchased at a swap meet in the 1980s by the previous owner. My neighbor doesn't know anything about the internals. Block decodes to a '68 block, heads are aluminum. It has a very choppy cam and still pumps 205 PSI on a compression test.

How do you ID aluminum SBC heads?

Give us casting numbers, I have had lots of aluminum head small blocks over the years. If they are aftermarket heads there will be a name somewhere on them...Probably!

God Bless
