Default 1966 GTO HT headliner laces.

Who has the Quarter trim finish Lace, LH & RH for 1966 GTO 1:st design back window side trim?
These holds the rear lower headliner in place.

I don't think anyone is offering a replacement for the bottom finish strip on the early Ear-Muff / Sail Cover.
I think good used if your lucky to find them is the only option over creating a functional replacement strip.
I was looking at "plastic poster board edging" a while back in hopes to find one close enough to slip on the sail but,
never found anything similar ended up with decent used on that project

Kenth,

What is the build date of your 66, and plant?
I would like to know how far into 66 did they use this small sail panel?

Mine has it also.

Thanks, Chris.

Chris,
my body plate says 11A PON.

And the laces are actually 4 pieces,
"Upper front-black" 7614512 RH, 7614513 LH.
"Upper rear-black" 7614476 RH, 7614477 LH.

The front holds the headliner only, while the rear holds the sail panel too.

2:nd design headlner may have appeared februari 01 when all bodies were built with the anchor nuts for installation of front seat shoulder straps?

Regards,
Kenth

Very possible.

Some reference on the shoulder strap and the punch mark, before and after on Data plate.

Thanks, Chris.

The first 66 I had came with the shoulder belts from the factory and matched the Turquoise interior. The 66 I have now had now but I added them. A lot of guys around here had no clue they were even available. When someone looks inside the car they do grab their attention... if they look up and see them. This 66 was built in Baltimore 4th week of March 66. The first one was built in Baltimore too but I don't remember the build date.
