I bet you recover faster at home. Best wishes. Pneumonia is tough by itself. Had it over a month this winter for the 5th or 6th time. Really wears you out.

Thank you everyone, and please stay well. This thing is nothing to take lightly, many have died from it the past few months. If you get a cough that just keeps up, please get to a Dr.

Thanks again for all the well wishes, I am slowly feeling better.

A lot better, I’m home a week today and doing a lot better. Lungs are really starting to clear up, but I still am coughing, and limited to walking very far without running out of gas. But I am getting there slowlyyyyyy. I'm going To try and get to the shop to see my baby, who is still up on the lift from before I got sick, I wanted to clean the undercarriage, then got sick, so BIGDADDY is still up on the Bend Pak hanging out.

Pneumonia takes a long time to recover from. Some say your lungs are never as strong after a bout. I am so glad to hear that you are past the worst. From my own experience, it will take a couple of months to rebuild your stamina. Thank God for your recovery. And thank God for the modern medicines that we have.

The Dr.s did say it could take months to get back to normal. I was so embarrassed yesterday when I had to get groceries, and had to use the little scooter to get through the store. I’m still very shaky and I’m not a patient person. I want to be better NOW!

I know. I’m an impatient person too. The last thing you want to do is wear yourself down and have a relapse. Patience grasshopper!

Im convinced it was a bug gone around nationally, or wider. Seen lots with "the cough" including me and a car buddy. The Bowlers didn't seem to get it. .
For me the last two days of it included a headache pain in the back of my noggin (unusual), then gone. Easily tired.

Some kids got pnumonia and went to ICU. Glad you are out and about. I'm convinced upright activity is key to clearing & healing the lungs.

Avoiding pnumonia is anybody's guess.

I don’t know why, but my Oncologist told me not to get the Pneumonia shot. I asked why, and she said I wouldn’t need it. Hmmmmmmm interesting I can’t wait to see her in July.

Also, all my childhood immunizations were wiped out when I got my marrow transplant, so I am scheduled to get the MMR in July, but I am completely venerable to all that crap that’s been in the news lately.

It was just an in store rental, with a fart pipe. I probably could have walked faster, but didn’t want to pass out and crash. Nobody I knew saw me on the thing so I’m good. Hopefully next time I go I won’t need it I was so embarrassed.

Isn't that one of those small caps that Jewish men wear at church?

Feeling better today, but still my strength level is poor at best. I actually got up to the shop, and all I was able to clean on BIGDADDY was the front end and rocker moldings, and the wheels. it wasn’t much but felt so good to be with my boy even if I was exhausted just doing that little bit.
