Default Aluminum Wheels

Anyone aware if there exists a 15" Pontiac aluminum rally 2 on the market? I'm only finding 17".

not that i have ever seen. 15" rally 2s are almost as light as a 15" aluminum snoflakes so theres not much of a reason to make 15" aluminum rallys.

We have them in Australia, as Holden used the Rallye 2 wheel on the HQ Monaro's in the early 70's. Prices are in AUD so 3/4 that to USD.

Shut up and TAKE MY MONEY!!!

...oh right.. what money? :P

Still, those look really nice. Don't suppose you have access to any decent higher performance options in 15" tyres over there also? Hmmm?

I like those a lot too. Do you know if they are made in Australia or somewhere in SE Asia? Can imagine each wheel costs the same to ship as the purchase price. Time for a trip to Australia with the family, each kid packs a wheel in their suitcase.

Filled out the inquiry form. Shipping to NC could be the deal breaker.

Everything comes out of SE Asia. Been to Walmart lately?

Yes, way too much here from SE Asia, that’s why it’s strange that we don’t have those readily available here. But the Australians are a resourceful bunch and they love their classic Holdens so that’s why I thought there was a chance these are made Down Under. Let us know what you find out. I’m not really into the look of the 17 inch forged Rally II’s, would prefer 15s.

I am going to find some of the WS6 8" snowflake wheels. The steel rally 2 weighs 25 lbs. the 8 " snowflake weighs 15 lbs. That is a big difference.

The original Honeycombs from 71-72 are like friggin boulders. Those things with the steel and then that thermoset polyurethane molded over make them HP suckers. I have the weights of them around here somewhere.

It's the same situation with those, they repop a nice Honeycomb wheel in aluminum but the darn things are only in 17". I know a bunch of guys that would buy a bunch of them if they were in 15".

I'd be on board in a heart beat for some 15" aluminum Rally II wheels myself.
