That reminds me of the time a few years ago when I was stuck in bumper to bumper, traffic. It was moving but very, very slowly and in 10 foot spurts. Stop and go stuff...
I was stuck right next to a fully loaded garbage truck and noticed that something was smoking at the very bottom of the pile and not more than 6 feet from my driver's side window...which was down. Smoke was seeping from various crevices and fractures of one kind or another at the lower edge of the box. It was my turn to creep forward 10 feet and as soon as I did...BAM!....whatever was in the bottom of that truck exploded with a bang. Never did figure out what it was. I was just glad I had pulled up a few feet.

I wonder if the brakes through a spark or something, that doesn't just happen everyday!
