70 - 78 is different to 79 - 81. The center piece is common.

Here's a picture of the difference. The '78 is on the left, the '79 is on the right. Hope this helps.

thanks guys, that does help and clarify.

I just aquired a complete 78 rear spoiler set in a junk yard deal with a bunch of other stuff. My 79 has a warped center section or warped driver side piece as they will not line up on the high spoiler tail line. If my center spoiler is the warped one I'm all set now, if it is the driver side rear spoiler I'll have to do some trading.
