Car Cover '64 GTO
We have two '64 GTO's. The covers are generic and fit very loosely. I would like to buy covers that are fitted better than these generic ones.
We need them for garage storage to keep dust off the cars, not outside use.. What have you all found works best? I realize there are many choices. Thank you.

This is the cover on my '77 T/A. I bought it from Cal. Car Cover. I am pleased with it, its a bit stretchy, made to fit and covers nicely. At the time they even offered free embroidery so I had something stitched on the front. They are not cheap but not expensive either. This one is the middle of the road as it only covers the car when its in the garage and I think it was around $250 =/-. |

California car covers, you can always talk with someone, and they do stand behind their warranty.

I've had this idea for years but haven't done anything about it yet: I have a zillion old T shirts laying around from car shows and other events, and instead of just throwing them in the rag bag I'd like to cut them up and sew them together to make a car cover. I have a sewing machine, and it should be easy enough to cut and fit them together into a cover that matches the car's shape.

I'll jump on the California Car Cover bandwagon as well! I love the one I bought for the XLR-V ...Talk about an oddball car to make a cover for. Even the mirror pockets are perfect
I did not realize Beverly Hills Co. was still in business! I still have one of their covers from 1978! It has some mouse holes these days but still use it. Another good company. In the picture, the Beverly hills cover looks like it shrunk, but it was actually bought for my Nova! God Bless Bill https://www.jalopyjournal.com/forum/...closed.614419/

I bought this cover in 1982 for my then new Firebird, from Beverly Hills Motoring Accessories. I too thought they were long out of business. Surprisingly it fits my 79 firebird, almost. Car long gone but the cover still keeps earning its keep. |

CCC have many generic covers, but if one wants to step up to the plate, they will do a custom cover, they will send you a spec sheet, and you do all the measuring, everything and you can discuss it with them on the phone before finalizing, I have done one and it's awesome and takes about a month to receive. You pay for what you get, no complaints, fits better then a glove
