Hi all,
I'm changing the TH350 to a 400 in my 68 LeMans. Would one (or more) of you be so kind as to measure the length of your driveshaft. I need the center of u-joint to center of u-joint measurement, please.
Thanks-

Shaft length, yoke end to yoke end 56 11/16"

Shaft length, center of yoke to center of yoke (the measurement you're looking for) 55 3/16"

These measurements were taken of off my '68 GTO, Turbo 400 and are as close as I could make them.

Hope this is what you were looking for.

JC455, Have you cut your driveshaft yet? The reason I am asking is I am going the other way, sort of. I have a 400 and I am going to a 2004R. I would be willing to trade you. I don't know what the cost of shipping would be, but it would probably be cheaper than have a driveshaft cut and rebalanced.

Actually, no. I acquired a couple of different length shafts, so I'm hoping to try that route first (if I ever get the time-seems it disappears rather quickly these daze!!)
If it doesn't work out, I shoot you an email and see if we can work something out.
