Default racing suspension help

For the racers out there I am having trouble getting my car to stop the double bounce coming off the line. It effects the 60 fts. I have converted to ladder bars but with the limited travel of the front suspension it can't get enough weight on the rear to plant the tires hard( 10 inch slicks). I'm using soft front morroso springs and 90/10's on front. Should I slow down the front end travel ? Should I adjust the ride height towards the rear of the car to put more static weight on the rear? I posted here because no one understand these cars like other Tempest owners. What has worked for you?

Thanks Tom

What kind of 60 ft. I can do 1.57+++++ with no real liftor bounce. Have mt et. street legal radials. 275/50/15-26" tall 10 inch wide. Just take off at high idle. I have the ladder bars level with no up or down pressure on them. 63 tempest 421sd Went 11.44 for a brakout on a nss/d 11:50 class at Milan (MNMCA) today. Was number one qualifyer after 3 rounds but they decided to have a 4th witch they NEVER do and I got knocked to #2. I am always the only pontiac. Was #1 at route 66 the month before. Usually about 25 cars in Nostalgia Super Stock.

Gary,
Glad someone responded I have been in the 1.50 60's with good track conditions. But seem to have lost it. My main concern is this car is just not consistant I was doing 1.60s last night went tighter on the rear shocks and 60's got worse, in the 1.70's I'm at my wits end in trying to figure this thing out. It gets worse as the car get faster 11.30's last night in the heat has been 10.80's in the spring. But still none of that's any good if you can't depend on being the same or close each round. Any ideas? By the way I like your car, looks straight out of the 60's.

Sorry I can't really give any advice. I have no roll bar so 11.50 is my limit or I have to be in the 12.00 class. I have not played with no shocks. The coil overs are 150# and the fronts are 63 tempest V8 with an extra 1 1/2 " The car is real stiff. I know where your comming from from about those 60fts changing your times.

Thanks for the replys guy's, but I don't think it is engine stutter the rear springs are 150 lb.s. I had the car 4 wheel scaled last year but can't find my sheet at his time. I think the main problem is there is just not enough fron end travel to get the weight to the rear.

Tom.

If your car is hopping around like you said, your losing a lot of ET.

I'd try some lighter springs for the rear.
(130 lb maybe?)

Then try the front shocks at 70/30 or maybe even 50/50.

The front and rear setup are fighting each other.
Need to change the harmonics of one or the other.
