Lost oil pressure on day 2 in Topeka last year. Upgraded to better oil pan and Mark Luhn oil pump. Freshened motor. Also changing to a set of non ported cv1 heads.

As mentioned before, I plan on signing up the Skylark again. I may re-cam it this summer. Pull out a little duration and run up the lift and see how it does.

Are you going to be running the same combo as last year or something new for this year?

Sorta the same....ish! Last year was a 455 block 4.25 stroke with 4.19 bore, this year it will be a MR-1A (aluminum) block, 4" stroke 4.25 bore, so more rev's, hopefully help the T56 Magnum survive (which last year I was running a TKO 600). the rest is the same, cam, heads, procharger. Oh the only other differences are a Advanced Clutches dual slider clutch, adding a oil accumulator, hydroboost....

Can't wait to see how your "454" does! How much weight difference between a 455 block and the MR-1A?

Registration is next Saturday May, 2nd at 9:00AM Pacific time! Would be great to see a lot of Pontiacs get in again. It will most likely sell out in a few minutes.
