73 formula SD
I found a 73 formula SD455,4 speed car, maroon color. It’s been sitting in a garage since 1983. I don’t see any rust, but it needs everything from sitting so long. 48000 miles. Does anyone have an idea of the value?

Don't know on price, but need more info and pics? Is the SD engine there? Original engine? What are they asking for it? I'm sure I would never be able to afford it.

It looks like it’s all original and a nice car when parked.

I’m unsure of the exact value but if it’s in presentable survivor condition and #’s matching I’d imagine you’re looking at six figure money. It’s one of only 10 4 speeds built.
That’s one hell of a find buddy!

Here is a similar car for sale, but there is no price listed in the ad. You might want to call them and see what they want for it even though it's an automatic. I called a couple of years ago and they wanted 99K for it, but maybe they want more now.

It looks like that one, but it’s no where near drivable. It is a 4 speed though, which has to add to the value. It will probably take 60,000 to buy it.

I'd pay that if car is complete with original drivetrain and not rusty. They only made 10.

Somewhere there is a breakdown for all colors on 73 SD Formula's And it might list their transmission within the color break also. Its a Holy Grail type car in any collection of any collector , being a 4spd. The only one I can recall ever being openly available to the public was in the early 90's. A couple or few have changed hands privately. |

It sounds way worth that. Desirable color. Beyond rare 4 speed. No rust. Dream car. Sounds like one between buy and money put in, there still will be some equity over cost.
Interior: Black? Custom? Console? curious.

My 74 SD Formula came out of the Easley SC area. I bought it back in the mid-80s.

It would also have to be Deluxe Interior , only way that color was offered. (Burgandy / OxBlood)
We would all love to have that car, hope you can get it. |
