Default solid body mounts

I remeber seeing on here " I think ' this forum where someone did and install of solid mounts and " adjusted " the mount by notching it to fit onto the rear section of the frame anyone redall this post....thanks for any help chris

I don't think I've posted about it on here, but I put Moroso solid body mounts in a first gen Camaro. I imagine it would be about the same for your second gen F-body. Very straight-forward to do and made the car feel much less loosey-goosey.

Yep just did it tonight supported the subframe placed a floor jack with a piece of wood on the lip of the car loosened the bolts and jacked the car till I could get the bushings out bet ya not 1/2 hour,,gotta say...nothing like A rust free car....crack the bolts loose by hand and practically took them out with my fingers...unreal
I think I'll leave the lower rear bushing in and when I drive it for like a week or two there should be a nice witness mark I hope then I can adjust the mount by notching it...

Now I did not do the rad support as I also have the upper BIG bushings for the nose....so they will get done later....
