Default '67 Ragtop

Well, as much as I hate to do it, it’s time to let go of my ’67 GTO ragtop. The car was purchased in Brunswick, GA in Nov 2002. The previous owner had the engine rebuilt and had the floor and trunk pans replaced. After finding some rust through on the top of the frame, he bought a solid frame and had it blasted, painted and swapped out. The brakes were also upgraded to power disks. Since I’ve owned the car, I’ve installed a “Cliffs” Q-Jet and Sun-Tuned HEI. The car fires right up and runs like it’s fuel injected. The rear suspension has been completely rebuilt (springs, arms bushings) and the 8.2 (2.73) open rear has been replaced with an 8.5 BOP 3.42 posi. The original rear goes with the car. The power steering system was rebuilt by Chip at Power Steering Services and the original steering box has been upgraded to quick ratio steering.
The car is an XP coded 400 (NOM) with 670 heads, TH400 his/hers. It is an AC car, but the system is not installed. I have some AC parts that will go with the car. The body is in decent driver condition, although the paint is a bit tired (originally Silverglaze, but currently Montego Cream). The quarters have some bondo in the wheel lip area. The rest of the sheet metal appears solid.

The car can easily be driven and enjoyed as-is. Asking $22,500, Happy to answer any questions.

Thanks, Joe

The car is an original TH400 auto. Both the floors and trunk, including under the top, are solid. Frame is pretty much as good as they come, blasted and painted. Rear suspension is new and front is in good shape. The area around the windshield is also in good shape.

PM sent with contact info.

The date code on the engine is C197 (19 March 1967) and the VIN is 242677B115363.
