Default 63 Wagon Windshield Trim Removal

I want to pull my windshield trim to check or replace seal.....

Looking for some intel on how to remove and replace trim without damage.

I have the lower (cowl) piece figured out already...

Thanks for any input

You will need a trim removal tool. There are several different styles but mine is like this. The tool is slid under the trim at each clip location. The point slips behind the clip and you rock tool to pull clip away from trim. Sometimes pushing down on the trim makes it easier to release the clip while the tool is pulling on it

If you planning on changing the gasket have new pinch weld clips on hand before you start. You will find a few rusty or weak clips. You can usually buy a clip kit from the same vendor as the windshield gasket.
