First one takes the gray bulb holder with the fiber optic lead coming out of it. The lead goes down to the back of the ashtray bracket.

2nd pic... plug from that connector goes to the tach lead on the distributor. Brown wire(?)

Mid to late '70's there was an L shaped plug that slid into that particular male connector & one a 1/2" away. Am not in my shop but in town, looking at guages out of my '77 Y82 4spd project.

I like how you did that with the pic. I need to learn that .

But after thinking it over many! times . I pulled the door harness out. That was packed with door stuff . looks like the P/W are the green and blk. I had forgot the car has P/L . looks like that matches up with the orange/blk tracer wire and the orange wire. No explanation on the colors not matching on the P/L . door side .

This only leaves me with the pink wire that someone added connector to.

The door locks are tied into the seat back release also . That's another circuit that works on a separate door jam switch. My understanding that if you got P/L the elect seat release was included.

I ordered a wire diagram from AMES hope that helps. The books I have don't have a good diagram

see pic

Thanks for your input
