Default Steering components same as Nova?

Are the tie rods, adjuster sleeves, and idler arm on a '72 Ventura the same as on a '72 Nova? I got a front end rebuild kit for a Nova and the diameter of everything is smaller and the idler arm is not the same at all. The bushings and ball joints fit fine.

I believe the 71-74 ventura is unique in its steering components.

What would it take to be able to switch over to a Nova steering setup? All the steering components for a Ventura cost an arm and a leg.

I thought I recall that the nova has the steering components on the front of the knuckles and ventura on the rear of the knuckles (or visaversa)

Which Pontiac supplier has all the Ventura parts I need?

Is the Nova power steering box the same as the Ventura? How about the pitman arm? I already have Nova tie rods, adjuster sleeves, and an idler arm. So if I get a Nova center link and pitman arm it looks like everything should work.

The linkage will fit if you change all of it, as you said. The steering box is the same. For some reason, Pontiac used a curved Pitman arm (at least on every Ventura I have seen). Someone told me that was for exhaust clearance, but I have put 2 Pontiac engines into Novas of the same vintage, and had no problems clearing the steering linkage.
