Default Y88 Caps

I found a set of Y88 Rally caps, I’m going to put them on I think.

Back in the 80’s, a black and Gold Grand Prix was on the turntable in Detroit, the GM brass came in and didn’t like the ride caps, they only came in red, silver was later at some point, so the mad 6 of these, they are actually for wire wheels, but fit on rally’s, looks like they were made on a lathe from alum, some guy has the other 2, I have 4. There a pic on the intent showing the GP with these on, I can’t find it now.

My car came with the 7”flakes, I like the look of rally’s, the guy that sold them to me said they came off a SE car that the guy didn’t like flakes, so you could get the down grade in rally’s in gold, never confirmed that was
possible, but he was a GM employee maybe that had something to do with it. The guy took them off early, the backs are still clean gray.

I think they will look good on the Gold Rally II's Burd. Definetly will be a bit different.

Those caps are definitely cool, but.....do I see Cooper Cobra tires on the car? How do you like them? Just bought a set for my TA but not mounted yet, some people say they don’t ride well?

Thanks!
