Throttle cable length?
I put a Performer RPM on the 400 that’s going in my 64 LeMans, using Quadrajet and the Precision Specialties bracket for the throttle cable and appears it’s about an inch and a half to short. Is the 66-67 cable longer or is a Lokar cable in my future?

I soldered an electrical ring connector to the cable after crimping and ran an extension to the lever. Not pretty but works well.

Mount a simple L bracket on the back carburetor stud. Drill it to accept your cable clamp with a screw and a nut.
Speedway Motors also sells this cable extension. You can get the other style stud if your cable has the ring connector from them also.

I had this exact issue on my 64, and some people on this forum were able to help me with some big car throttle cables from the same era, as it uses the same firewall mounting.
unfortunately i do not know where they came off. i had a similar issue with my 69 firebird and was unsuccessful locating a longer factory style cable. I did use a Lokar and it works perfect and was easy, but it does have a little bling factor.

This is what you want right here. https://www.ebay.com/itm/15443497981...YAAOSwd69gjJI1 No muss, no fuss, mounts to the rear carb stud and accepts your original throttle cable, just moves it forward into the correct orientation to the throttle lever again.
Looks like this (LS6 Chevelle application shown) when installed but accepts the GTO style throttle cable. I converted mine to the Chevelle throttle cable as pictured.
